I have algae stringing of the leaves of my plants. I add a DIY CO2 mix and Seachem Flourish as a fert. Cannot get this stuff to go away, any ideas?

Thanks

What kind of algae is it? How much light? Test results for PH, KH, Nitrates, Phosphates? We are speaking of live plants?

I think its BBA? Its black & greenish, thready, on all my live plants.

I have a 55W PC, PH is 7.6 - 8.0 and KH is 120ppm, Nitrates are 20PPM and Phosphates (no test, sorry). I can't add any fish right now as I am battling some disease thats slowly decimating my Tiger Barbs otherwise I woul start with Rosy Barbs.

I read raising the temp to 84 - 86 might help, will this be OK with the fish? Tiger Barbs, Cories and Clown Plecos?

Thanks
