So I've had my 12g tank for about a year and a half. I only have one plant left in it, not sure the name, my other plants my koi and gold fish ate. Yes I have a koi in a 12g tank for about 18months.

There is this dark green almost brown algae growing on my plant leaves and ornaments. Also grows on my UWF which I am going to get rid of this coming summer so I'm not too worried about that. My plant continues to grow but this algae seems to just keep growing on the leaves.

How do I either A) get rid of it. B) can I ever keep it away?

Can you pull it off? If it really bothers you, you can spot treat it with some Seachem Excel. Normally, I would just cut the leaf off though.

Well it's pretty much on all of them minus one. I can rub it off but, it grows back within a few weeks...
