Amazon sword

Hey all, just a quick question in case anyone has seen an Amazon sword do this? I was just wondering if someone could tell me tonight why the leaves have been doing this in my tank?Click image for larger version

I've had two Amazon Swords in a 65 gallon tank for five years and the outer, older leaves die off occasionally. Just trim them off. I don't think there is anything wrong with the plant or conditions if just one or two or three leaves go translucent and die. Seems like a natural thing.
