amazon sword runners

I am new to planted aquariums and I bought a sword with a long runner on it. How do I take advantage of this runner? How do I turn it into other plants?

if its a runner, i assume u just remove the excess and replant it, on my assumption!

Wait for roots. I did and there was no problem making new plants. Every leaf set could potentially be a new plant. Then cut to where every potential plant has roots. Good luck!

Yeah, wait for the roots to be at least an inch long. Cut it off as close to the root ball as possible. Mine typically had 2-3 plants on each one.
