Hi All,

I have hornwort in my tank and half of it likes to float, but the other half likes to fall down.....I want it all to float or stay at the top, but it never seems to do that. Any suggestions on how to get it to stay at the top so that my fry can use it as cover? It also grows a lot better when it is at the top of the aquarium.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I like mine planted and they always float to the top out of the gravel! :)

Hornwort seems to float or sink depending on light & temperature. In ponds, they close up their leaves & sink to the bottom when the temp drops. I also noticed that in bright light, the O2 bubbles (pearling) on the leaves tend to lift the plants up.
