So we have a rubber tree and I was thinking if using some of it's dried roots to attach to my drift wood. is that safe? I'm attaching a monstera on top of that driftwood too.

I don’t know about dried roots, but it’s very common to submerge live roots in the tank, leaves above, to facilitate nitrate removal. I tried a mostera once, but it never developed a good root system.

I see thanks. Hmm I don't see it included in toxic plants for fish so I guess it'll be ok. I was curious cause it's wood has a lot of sap. I had my monstera adanson in my betta tank for a couple months now and it's developing good roots and new leaves. I just wish it grew long roots faster so I can position it around the driftwood and not fix it again a couple months later.
