Hey guys, my bacopa caroliniana was getting really big, poking its way out of the water, so yesterday I cut it in half and transplanted the other part to the other side of the tank. Today it's leaves have turned brown pretty quickly... Is this normal in the first few days while new roots grow? Or is this transplant not gonna make it? Never done this before, let me know. Thanks.

Which leaves? The ones at the top or at the bottom? Are the leaves from the already rooted half okay still?

The plant in the original spot is fine... It's the transplanted one that came from the top, which had lots of leaves that are starting to wilt/brown. It is the leaves more toward the bottom... But is most of them.

I know my moneywort wilts at places for no reason. That being said I think it might be from the shock of transplant or the less light at the bottom of the tank.

I think your right, it's starting to green up already. Thanks.
