Bamboo?

So I was walking through petco and I saw they had a tank with bamboo growing in it. Is bamboo easy to grow in a tank? I know it can get huge but I figure it could be cool in a tank at least for a few .Does anybody know anything about it?

Bamboo has to be emersed. You have to have the top out of the tank or it will rot.

Just the leaves. The stem can be submerged.

Yes that'll work. Go to plantgeek.net and they have a list of non-aquatic plants, many of which Petco sells.
