Hi, I'm just starting my first aquarium and have decided I want live plants with the fish.

I'm thinking of buying this: Safe Choice Plant Collection Aquarium Plant but I have a few concerns.

1) Are plants ok to purchase online? I'm a bit nervous about them being transported so much. 2) Are these species suitable for a complete beginner? 3) Are these species ok to plant straight into gravel? 4) Will I need to add anything to the water to keep these plants healthy?

Thanks.

Hi, Those plants seem ok although I don't recognize all of them. I find it is a matter of trying them and seeing if they will work. I'm assuming low light so the only thing I can think of to add would be something like API leaf zone which adds potassium and iron. Fish food would add phosphates and the good bacteria will add nitrates.
