Ok, so I am really confused about how lighting works and what full spectrum means. I want my 55 gallon cichlid tank to have a blue color to it. Would I have to get higher Kelvin rating or what? Also there are these lights at petco called Coralife, and I was wondering if they would work for plants? Thanks.

Hi,

I'm not a plant or lighting expert, but do you mean antic bulbs? Those won't do you any good for planted tanks, they're kinda useless.

You can always get regular old bulbs and then have moonlight LEDs with them too :)

No they are like midday high intensity bulb for tropical regions. That just seems like it would work. Idk though. What would give the tank a blue tint?
