Hi,

The plants in my tank aren’t looking too good. They look as though they are going brown, They are relatively new to the tank so I’m not sure if that why. Can anyone help or let me know if there is a reason why?

Thanks
David

Plant melt is normal with new plants. They have been cultivated immersed rather than submerged in water and need to adjust to a very different environment. New growth should be healthy and it might be that you lose all your original growth to melt.

After new growth clearly begins, cut, pinch, or strip away what is very brown, gooey, or lacy looking so the plant can focus on new growth instead of trying to save its dead and dying parts.
