I have some horrible algae on my anubias and java ferns which are on a piece of driftwood. I know you can make a dip for plants but I'd need a LOT of h202 to cover the log/plants in a bucket at the 3/1 ratio.

Can I remove the log and spray neat 3% hydrogen peroxide right on the plants? Then I guess rinse off after a few minutes before replacing in the tank?

A bleach dip is more effective IMO. I had black algae on my anubias that could with stand peroxide. but not all plants can tolerate it. I think anubias would be fine I don't know about have fern.

But I think your idea would work as long as it actually kills the algae.

I was just thinking that if squirting it onto the leaves in the aquarium works why not just do that in the air?! I guess I'll just try and see what happens. Thx
