What kind of carpet should I add to this 5 gallon tank. Or what other plants?

You could go with a nice thick pile carpet for softness. Dont forget the underlay!!!

No in all seriousness you need to give details on what light levels you have. As carpeting plants are at substrate level, they tend to need higher light levels. More water for the light to penetrate

I've got a compact 10 watt flourescent bulb. At 65000k and I am planning on putting another in the tank with co2 when I decide wich carpet I want

Good looking tank! If you could let us know your lighting that would help. Also, I think some hardscape (Rocks, driftwood) would really help your aquarium pop.

Assuming you add the light and co2, I'd go with DHG (e. parvula). It's a little easier than HC (dwarf baby tears) or UG, for instance. Just make sure to have a good fertilizer regimen as well.

Whqt should I use for ferts?
