Carpet plants

2-T8 coralife colormax and 2 T5 standard 4100K. Upgrading the t5's in the near future tho just not sure when so i open to bulb suggestions also!
 
Going to a 2x24w t5ho would be nice and make for less equipment on the top of the tank. What you have now sounds pretty good though, from what I've seen 2 bulb t5no on 29g puts the tank around medium light.

A few of my favorite plants at the moment are staurogyne repens and dwarf pennywort.
 
Hydrocotyle tripartita aka Hydrocotyle sp. Japan would work and probably Downoi.
 
Star. Repens needs a lot of light and consistent pruning to make it carpet. It's advertised as a carpet plant but if your lighting is not strong enough it will grow vertically. Very good looking foreground plant but not easy to carpet.
