Hey guys, I just finished setting up a 20g tank and put two comets in it. It's my first tank and I realize the tank is a tad small for comets but they are about an inch long and I'm primarily focusing on keeping them alive. If I need to buy a bigger tank in a few months it will be a good problem to have!!

It has a hang on back filter and also pumps about 30gallons per hour to an aquaponic growbed where I have some herbs growing (basil, rosemary and garlic chives)

In the tank I have 3 plants, one java fern, Amazon sword and a banana plant. It's lit with a 18" 15watt t8 GE plant and aquarium light that is on a timer for sunrise/sunset.

Would my plants benefit from co2 injection in the tank? pH is 7.4 and kh is 40 ppm.

I'm mainly worried about the lighting being the limiting factor as opposed to co2
