Coldwater, low tech planted tank... (no heater) Is this possible?

Would any plant survive and even thrive?
Coldest temps in winter would be 60F (16 degress)

As for fish, I'm guessing white cloud minnows only.

I think an awesome tank would be Java moss for rocks and driftwood, Java fern, water cabbage, those Marino moss ball things and maybe cabomba but you'd have to watch temp a bit. They usually only take down to 18 degrees

As for livestock, white clouds and ghost shrimp would be cool! :)

I may try this.
Especially if I can get more plants compatible.
Java fern and java moss are the only easily found plants you listed for me.

I'm not sure about any more plants than that, all I could think of at the moment. I'm sure you could find a lot!

As for stocking they would be the best, most easily attainable inhabitants.

Anacharis if I'm not mistaken is actually a cold water but grows like a weed.
