Dirting my tank clarification

Recently I upgraded my tank from 10g to 25g. I want this aquarium to be dirted and I have a couple of questions.
I'm going to be using Miracle Gro Organic Soil and I've read experiences about anaerobic reactions or something like that. Should I worry about that?
Other than that I plan to cap it with gravel. Any extra tips for me?

When you put the dirt in put it in dry then add enough water to make it mud. Then cap it and then add water. I did it with some organic garden soil and the plants shot off!
