DIY Root Tabs Miracle Gro and Osmocote

Hello,

Last night I made myself some root tabs using the recipe suggested in another thread of Miracle Gro and Osmocote in gel caps.

I came home this evening to find a layer of bubbles on top of my aquarium. Is this normal? Should I be concerned?

I use those tabs as well! Actually mine don't have miracle grow, but going to the store today to get some and add a few tabs with the mixture for my swords. Not sure the Osmocote is doing the trick by itself. When I did a WC a week or so ago, I noticed a slightly off color ring of bubbles as well. I chalked it up to possibly the tabs, did a quality test and everything's been good. The tabs really need to be pushed as far down as possible. As long as your water parameters are ok, don't sweat it! Do a WC if your worried, that should take care of it! Good luck
