Hi,
I have a 15 litre tank I am going to use to grow out some plant cuttings.
Do I need to dechlorinate the water for this.
All I have in the tank is a small uncycled filter to provide some movement.
It will be left on a window sill for light and I am going to put some miracle grow in as a substrate

Hello tom...

You can use water straight from the tap. You don't need to treat the water to remove the chemicals the public water company uses to make the water safe to drink. Chlorine and chloramine are only toxic to aquarium fish. Your plants will be fine.

The organic form of Miracle Gro is good for aquatic plants.

If you have fish tanks with fish in it, when you do water change you can use that water to fill the grow out tank too. Your plants will love the nutrients in the water. Just a thought. Recycle.
