Does this 15g tall tank

Nope, not really. The more plants the better. Just make sure that you have all the nutrients and Co2 that those plant need in that tank.
Some fish like more swimming room, so having a ton of plants might not be a good thing in that case. What kind of fish do you have?
 
1 Gourami_ 7-12 Tetra's Bloods, all small, 3 African Frogs_ 3 small algae eaters
I add API CO_2 and Excel every other day do a 50% every 7 days adding Prime_
Stress Coat_ I have a Marineland Canister 220 Filter and a AquaClear Power Filter

P.S It is setup as a dirty tank...
 
You should be fine IMO, plants might want a better light but they look mostly low light so you should be fine.
 
I have a LED Plant light and 2 60w Phillips Mini Twister screw in fluorescent bulbs
