Dwarf hair grass

I have a a 30w led light for a 20 gallon planted aquarium and yesterday I started it and planted the dwarf hair grass. Today when I got home from work the plants had some yellow in them. Is this normal? I am also using topsoil for my substrate.

They may shed some leaves being transplanted into a new environment. Basically you shoved them into a new environment and they will need to adapt.

Its too early to tell if you have a bigger issue just have to watch it for a few more days.
