I have just successfully melted a fairly nice anacharis, mainly because I simply wasn't aware that some aquarium plants are sensitive to Excel.

Could anyone give me a list of commonly used aquarium plants that are also sensitive to Excel?

I'm starting up a nano planted (I hope) tank & would prefer it not to turn into some kind of gumbo.

Tank is still cycling, only have macro baby tears and 1 red/brown banana plant in it right now (plus some tiny sprigs of anacharis that remain from the sci-fi meltdown).

PS. tank is the 7.9 Fluval kit tank. Tank itself is ok, equipment is not-so-nice... be warned impulse shoppers!

Changed light to Finnex stingray (never used this one b4, so it's an experiement) and am waiting for a nano cannister filter to replace fluval in-tank one. Included CO2 diffuser is awful, but I'm dithering on what (if anything) to replace it with.

Have CaribSea Eco as substrate
