experience with Nutrafin plant gro sticks - worth the $2?

Recently saw a few packs of the Nutrafin Plant Gro sticks in PetCo's clearance bin and thought they couldn't make my plants look any worse, so what the heck. Looking for reviews online, haven't found anything, which makes me a bit nervous, but I guess that's better than a flood of complaints. Planning on using them for the amazon swords as everything else seems to be doing okay. Supposed to be good for a year but not sure about that. I also add Flourish and KCl twice a week if that makes any difference.

Anybody have experience with these?

I've seen them but never used them. Keep us informed, if they're any good I'll give them a try.

dont really remember someone off hand anyone using them. i dont think it will harm anything.

Finally found a few threads elsewhere on these fertilizer sticks and the few who use them seem to agree that the sticks work okay. Due for water change today, I'll take a few before pics and then hopefully have some healthier plants to show off in a few weeks.
