So I have Chuck's Calc. and I have GW Ferts. Now I'm looking at the Barr EI and the target levels for the dosing differs from what the suggested is on Chuck's Calc.

Chuck is Saying for a 29G
5ppm of Nitrate
1ppm of Phosphate
20ppm of Potassium

But Tom Barrs is coming up as
7.9ppm of Nitrate
1.84ppm of Phosphate
1.84ppm of Potassium.

Now what would be a good guide to start with?

I have a 29L with 65w of 6500k light. I'm CO2 misting. Should I shoot for the lower levels?

The is not a "perfect" amount to have. Everyone has a different opinion. This is because every tank is different and has different needs.

At 2wpg you will not need as many ferts.

FWIW: if it was may tank I would shoot for:
5-10ppm Nitrate
0.5-1ppm phosphate
10-20ppm Potassium

And then customise bases on the results

The amounts that Chuck Gadd recommends tend to be on the conservative side. Also keep in mind that you are adding potassium with the KNO3 and the K2SO4, not just the K2SO4.

Well I started with 7ppm of Nitrate, 1ppm of Phosphate, and 8ppm of Potassium

Purrbox, thanks for the heads up. Thankfully I walked through the calc. program prior to jumping the gun, and saw that as a drop down option. Took that into consideration. Here it is by weight. Figure I'll try it for a few weeks and see how things go. Soon I'll get my high lighting and my CO2 setup so I'll dose more.

1.5g of Potassium Nitrate
.4g of Mono Potassium Phosphate
.4g of Potassium Sulfate.
