First live plants

So I decided to get some live plants for my new 55, 2 bunches of java fern. This is my first foray into live plants. Any tips for keeping it alive and flourishing?

Try attaching the java ferns to either driftwood or rock as they get the nutrients they need from the water column..

Ok. The java fern has been attached to the driftwood now. Thanks for the advice.
