Flourish Excel

I was just curious what everyone thought of flourish excel? Does noticeably help add to the health and growth of plants?

many use it with good results.
More use the generic gluteraldehyde with the added bonus of $$.
Glut is 2 1/2 time stronger on average and 1/2 the price at most!

Both work well. You just have to be careful using Glut because some plants will pout and start to melt.

I had a few plants do this on me when I made the switch:
Vallisneria
Anarchis
Hornwort

Excel/Glut are incredibly useful as a carbon supplement and algaecide. For how useful they are I'd just skip the 1% of plants they negatively affect and instead let the rest of the plants out there reap the benefits of a very useful product.

Plus some of those that melt (Val's for sure) get used to it and end up being ok with it.
