Was looking to convert my 20 gallon freshwater tank to a fully planted tank. I wanted to know what fish I could have in there, what substrate, what lighting, etc to keep a planted tank.

Planted tanks are almost no different from regular tanks. Low light plants can live in virtually any tank, substrate, and lighting. As far as fish most will be fine but cichlids and some puffers will destroy them. Crayfish are out of the question as well.
