Glut vs excel

Ok I have not used a carbon source in a long time so the only thing I have used is excel. Which is better Glut or excel and why?

Excel is Glut. People buy Metricide 14 from Amazon for about $27. To make it approx. the same strength as Excel you dilute it 50:50 with distilled water to make 2 gal. Then dose same as Excel. Some people dose it full strength but at half dose of Excel. I dosed a 16g and a 29g daily for a year on one gal of Metricide. Compare that cost to Excel or API CO2 Booster. OS.
PS. With Metricide, you throw the little activator bottle away and just use the Glut in the big bottle.
