Gravel Vaccing Fluorite

How do i go about doing this? vaccuming the fluorite?

I don't push in the gravel much, mostly cause I can barely get to it through all the plants. You shouldn't have to do more than just put the vac near the flourite to suck up any mulm or debris. Over a few months, the smaller pieces of flourite that are so easy to suck up, will settle to the bottom of the substrate, simplifying things a bit.

It is also no big deal if you suck a bunch of the powder stuff out with the vac...
