Green spotted puffer questions

I purchased a betta bow 2.5 and I was wondering if I could keep maybe to puffers in this tank! I have been researching and I know the water needs to be brackish! I'm sure I can do that with marine salt! The divider comes out so they could have more room! I keep 2 before in my community tank not knowing they needed brackish water and they got ick and died! And of course I fell in love with puffers! I would use black sand for substrate and maybe add some live plants! I got a question on what they eat? I never got mine to eat good

GSPs get way too big for that size tank. Maybe dwarf puffers, 1 or 2 at most, although most will likely recommend a 5g or larger.
