I have a few micro swords which have roots so minimal it's impossible to plant them. They are currently just floating on the top of the water. Do you think they will grow roots while floating so that I can later plant them? Or will they just rot and die?

Just to explain why they are like that: as I continue to learn I realized I made a rookie mistake and planted them too deep covering the crowns. This made the roots rot but the leaves themselves are still green and look ok.

And adding these at the request of my 8 year old son Ben who is reading this!!: :fish1::fish2:

They should recover. When they do, add a root tab or two and they'll take off.

OK thanks. I do have root tabs.

But just to confirm, you think they will be ok just floating for a while? Will they grow roots while floating so that I can plant them?
