I have some serious hair algae going on, I posted a while back about this and everyone was extremely helpful and told me to switch to dry ferts and when/how much to dose I ordered them and have been following a strict weekly schedule, this is the end of week one and I'm just wondering if my hair algae will go away on it's own or is there something else I can do?
It's driving me crazy and it's making some of my plants fall over.

I had hair algae issues and it came down to CO2 issues. I have DIY CO2 and I wasn't changing it enough to keep it a consistant level. Do you have DIY CO2?

I once had hair algae too, but the cherry barbs seem to have eaten it all now, that and getting my ferts in balance...but it seemed like the fert balance just kept more from growing, and the fish ate the rest. Then as new leaves came on I would trim off the old ones, pretty soon all the older ones with algae were gone.
