This is a 30 gal hex, about 2.5 WPG, dosing just a little flourish complete & flourish potassium (didn't get around to it last week). Eco-Complete substrate.

I didn't get around to trimming my anacharis for 2 weeks. I'm still trying to replant what I trim off to get a little more in there.

The anacharis that's right up under the light in the middle of the top is getting a lot of hair algae on it. This algae isn't anywhere else in the tank. There are 6 ottos in there, and I don't really have any algae problem (a little on the glass, but I leave that for the ottos ... don't really use the Mag Float much).

Anyway, I was just wondering if I trim off the anacharis with the algae on it and replant it, if that would somehow lead to me having an algae problem. Should I dispose of all the anacharis that has algae on it, or should I not worry about it?
