Small growths on my tall javas. cleaning them now, should I remove these root like growths from the leaves? They rub off really easy but seem to be connected. What should I do?

The pictures aren't the clearest, but it definitely looks like baby javas. The way javas spread is new baby plants grow right out of the leaves of the parent, complete with root systems which is what I believe I'm looking at. Once they mature enough, they break free and float around until they get snagged in something and just grow there.
