Help on DIY Substrate Tab presentation

Ok, hopefully this works - the local society is doing DIY preso's next week and I said I would do DIY substrate tabs (seemed a good idea at time...). I've put together this from memory and was hoping for any comments or notes if something looks really wrong? Or to add?

I wasn't really sure what potting clay(?) can be used for substrate tabs, etc, etc.
