Could be baby snails? Sometimes they come with plants. Just a thought. I have baby snales and they look just like yours.

They aren't because the plants came in those packages with the gel that is snail free. But it may have come on the drift wood which was dry when I got it. But thanks for the reply.

I have no fish but want to add shrimp. Will they hurt red cherry shrimp at all or can I go ahead and get the shrimp? Will the shrimp eat them? Thanks.

Do you have any organisms in your tank? If not theyre definitely not parasitic and are harmless

Why get rid of them? They're beneficial and eat detritus. They can't be parasitic because there is no host.
