Help with plant choice.

Boy... what a mind blower all this info is!

I am going to have a very low level light (1W/gallon). I want little maintenance. My substrate is filter sand from Home Depot. What plant do I need? I only want 2-3 plants in my 30 gallon. I will have a Pleco and a red tailed shark.

Also, which fertilizer (if any?)
Im thinking Seachem Flourish?

Since you only want a few plants, I would recommend selecting one or more varieties of Anubias. These are very hardy plants and will do well under your lighting. They can be planted in the sand (roots only not the rhizome) or tied to rocks or driftwood. If you find that you need to add trace ferts, the Flourish is a good choice. It's very likely that this will be unnecessary though.

Java fern, hornwort, anacharis, java moss are pretty good for your type of setup as well.
