I have small holes in the leaves of my hygro. I don't have snails what might it be? I don't think it is the fish. The tank is a 55 gallon with 180 watts of light a DIY CO2 and a Fluval 304. The ph is 6-6.5 I had been using Discus buffer to lower ph, but have stopped since the last couple water changes, so I don't think that is it (or is it?)
The cloudy water seems to set in later in the day.(Clear in morning/cloudy at night) I don't think I am over-feeding. Could it be sediment or is the peat pellets that I filter over kicking up this cloud?
Any info is appreciated.

when i used to have holes in my plants i used an extra capful of the plant fertilzer it usually worked if it didnt i trimmed off the decaying leaf and it grew a new one.
