I used a 5lb on a 6 40b rack system for several months and it only lasts around 3 weeks. Have since switched to a 25lb tank and lasts much longer.

I was paying around $20 to swap my #5 tank at Airgas. Then I found a local place that swaps #25 tanks for $6 and some change.
