Hey guys, I bought a 75 gallon (tall) tank off craigslist which had the following lighting in it.

BlueLine 24" 18w White VHO LED Strip :: LED Lighting Systems :: Lighting :: Champion Lighting & Supply

It's got 36 LEDs, so it's the 48" variety on that page. The info says it's only 36 W of light, but I hear that watts per gallon is kind of an outdated rule of thumb.

Can anyone tell me if this setup would be considered low, moderate or high light?

The tank when I purchased it had 5' long Jungle Vals growing, so I know it's capable of sustaining plants, but that's about it.

I have a similar LED light on my 150 G tank. It utilizes 3 watts per bulb and has 52 bulbs on it. I have Salt water anemones in it and it works great. I would recommend double checking thee actual wattage out put of the paticular light you have and go from there. Do you have any dark areas in the tank?
