I just sealed my co2...

-How long will it take to bubble?
-I set it up last night it never bubbled
-I used 1/8 yeist 1/8 water 1cup water 1cup sugar. I used crazy glue to seal the holes. Did I do something wrong?

mine usually takes a day or so to start spitting out bubbles. first it grows a 2-3 inch layer of foam above the water

in each bottle i fill it half way with warm water and put a cup of sugar in and 1/8 tsp of yeast. so two of my bottles are filled and the third one is so nothing bad gets in the aquarium. i use a diy diffuser made from a syringe and cotton put under the out flow of my filter so the bubbles come out of the syringe

sugar and yeast? i put the yeast in 104 degree water first to activate it

yes, i put warm water in the bottle then the sugar to dissolve it and put the yeast in a small cup of 104 degree water to activate it then dump it in with the sugar

its a do it yourself co2 system, for planted tanks

The sugar and yeast are in the same bottle, otherwise you don't get a reaction. He just has multiple bottles of sugar and yeast to increase throughput.

Oh ok, so basically food for plants cause of no fish

It provides CO2 for plants, which isn't found in high enough levels even with fish.

co2 boosts the growth of plants and keeps algae at minimum you still have to use fertilizers

oops yeah tablespoon i use 1/4 tablespoon and put it in the warm cup of water then pour half in each bottle so 1/8 tbs in each

And do I split the sugar like you do with the yeist? Like 1/2 in one bottle another half in the other one?
