i have a 55 gallon aquarium and i purchased a "48 inch double linear strip T5 fluorescent lamp, with: a 28 watt colourmax full-spectrum T5 and a 28 watt 6700K plant lamp T5"

is this sufficient to grow my plants?:n00b:

It should do the job for most low-light plants. You may have some issues with plants requiring higher light levels, but T-5 bulbs (even normal output T-5s) are pretty efficient on the lumens/watt produced. Let us know how things go.

Java Moss, and Java Fern should do ok in that light. An Anubias if it is attached to wood and closer to the surface.

my Plants:
cryptocoryne undulata
anacharis
philippine java fern
anubias nana barteri
monosolenium tenerum
weeping moss
vallisneria spiralis
hygrophila polysperma
alternanthera reineckii

i already see a difference since i had set up the new lights yesterday..
all of my plants seem to be reaching for the sky and seem perkier :)
