So my sunset crypt and parva both are going threw a melt right now :( it makes me sad but it's funny cause my sunset is melting while there is other leaves sprouting

Anyone else have any amazing looking crypts? Heck why not just show me any plant that you are the proudest of in your tank.

Here are mine...

These are mine. The first is C. Retrospiralis, the next are both C. Wendtii. All the C. Wendtii came from one plant i bought. (please excuse the mess, it's time for a PWC :) )

What are these mutated crypts and where do you find them

I got mine from a club member. He occasionally sells via The Planted Tank ( members only see sales, free to join ). Run a search or ask if anyone is selling it.

They are extinct in the wild AFAIK. Their habitat is a plantation now. My plant club helps keep several rare species alive and available in the hobby.

it was sold to me as wendtii but it's very possible! it's weird, when the leaves are littler they are bright green, and as they get bigger they get veiny and reddish. but it takes a while. i dunno it's a weird little plant but i like it :)
