I have DIY CO2 system that goes thru a fine airstone into the intake of an Aquaclear70. Are there any pro's or con's to doing it this way? Any thoughts?

Pros: Better dispersion throughout the tank
Cons: Worse atmospheric exchange resulting in CO2 loss.

some people think the CO2 is harmful to the aerobic bacteria in the filter

however, the amount of CO2 added by the hobbyist is no where near enough to even begin to displace the oxygen in the water, if it did all your fish would die. So most long time hobbyist will agree it is fine.
