Speaking of planted aquariums, there is an excellent store in San Francisco called the Aqua Forest, which is devoted almost exclusively to aquarium landscaping. They have a large selection of products for aqua landscaping. Check out the site at Aqua Forest - San Francisco on any search engine and then browse the categories. Many beautiful examples of planted aquariums are shown, which can give you a lot of useful ideas.
