Is Dollarweed okay for planted aquarium.

I wasnt sure if it is safe. Will it out compete my other plants for nutrients, is it harmful for my community tank, etc...? Please anyone with experience, thanks.
 
I actually tried to use dollarweed in two of my aquariums. One, my lowlight 55, it died off. On my mid-high light 10 it stayed around, but never grew much.
 
Dollar weed more commonly known as Pennywort is safe for aquarium use. Many people use it by planting it in the substrate and letting it grow up to the suface and spread to be used as a floating plant.
 
Yeah I threw some in my 1 gallon pond snail tank with low lighting and they are exploding with growth. I figured i experiment with my snail tank with it and its good to go.
