I'm on a road to nowhere (Or, Idaho, I guess)
I decided to try out plants in my tank for the first time and didn't want to make any rookie mistakes that might kill my plant, so I have a few questions.
First off, I bought a small Java fern and I'm wondering if my 10 gallon tank is a good size for it. Additionally, what should I disinfect it with to remove any harmful bacteria before putting it in the tank?
In my tank there's a bn pleco, tetras, and a platy if that helps with anything.
I give you thanks in advance! Have a nice day! :)

The 10 gallon will be fine for the Java Fern. Potassium Permanganate would be ideal a light bleach and water dip would work as well. A 1:19 ratio(1 part bleach to 19 part water) to create bleach dip. No longer than 2 minutes.
