I didn't want to post this until I was certain, which I am. A year ago, I had java moss growing very well in a planted tank. I had some anacharis growing in the tank as well which litterally took over the tank. Grew too tall, blocked out the light. The java moss all but died off by the time I got back to the tank, Several months later, it looked like the java moss was starting to grow. Bright green growth at some of the tips. I expected a lot of growth to return but nothing ever did. Over the holidays, we lost power for two days and the tank got cold. Now a little over a month later, the java moss is growing like a weed. Wondering if that cold spell didn't mimic a natural occurrence which resulted in the plant growing again. I really haven't changed anything else. Just happy the java moss is growing again.
