Ok, my local fish store told me that I just have to drop the java moss in my tank and it will just drop and stay on the bottom of my aquarium. Uh, what am I doing wrong? If I keep the filter on low, it kind of stays on the bottom, but as soon as I turn the filter to a higher speed, it goes everywhere. I bought the moss for fry to hide and thinking I may have Molly fry any day now! Please advise!

Never listen to those stores unless you are sure they have good advice. If you think it sounds sketchy, it probably is. ;)

Tie it to some driftwood or rock. Use fishing line or some other aquarium safe string for this.

Yes, get nylon thread from Walmart or Michaels or AC Moore and tie the moss to a stone or any other object. As the moss grows, the nylon thread will become invisible. You can use regular thread too, it will degrade but the moss will "root" onto the object by the time the thread falls off.
