I recently read that anubias plants are semi-aquatic and grow best when their leaves are out of water. Could I take my anubias out of my tank and put it in a cup with a few inches of water in the sunlight so it grows faster, then add it to the tank?

Tropical, it is a marginal plant, so you would need to mist it and keep the roots extremely wet. Also, if you went from emergent growth to submergent growth, there is a good chance the leaves would die off once submerged.

Oh thanks. I was just sort of wondering what would happen if I did try it, and now I know.
